Our Services Kirklees Team Working in partnership with the Probation Service, Local Authority, Housing Associations and Private Sector Landlords, the Kirklees Team has access to over 120 bed spaces, offering a wide range of supported housing across the whole of the Kirklees area to ex-offenders and young people referred to the Project. We have offices based in both Huddersfield and Dewsbury. Our Housing Schemes Supported Housing for ex-offenders: We work with the National Probation Service and Supporting People in providing temporary supported accommodation for single people involved with the Criminal Justice System or who may be at risk of offending. We provide a full and intensive support package (as determined by assessment and support planning) and also take on management of the property. In some cases we will visit 5 days a week (weekends by arrangement). Accommodation is accessed via our local partners as above, generally in one bedroom properties. ARC (Attaining Resettlement Confidence) scheme: We work with offenders who also have mental health problems on the ARC Scheme. We have a specialist Mental Health Housing Support Worker who works intensively with our customers to help them to achieve independence. The ARC worker carries a smaller caseload then generic Housing Support Workers and so can work much more intensively with customers. DRR\DTTO (Drug Treatment and Testing Order) Scheme: On this scheme we work with the Kirklees DRR team to offer supported accommodation to single people on specific orders. We work alongside DRR staff to promote the successful completion of the order. YOT (Youth Offending Team) Scheme: Two Housing Support Workers working with sixteen and seventeen year olds who are under the supervision of the Youth Offending Team. Again intense support KEYTURN: Two and a half Housing Support Workers working with young people aged sixteen to twenty-five years who do not have a history of offending. Referral by an Agency, e.g. Connexions, Housing needs, CHAS, Social Services. Intensive support package determined by assessment and support plan. Hostel Move On Scheme: We have two Housing Support Workers providing support to residents who are re-housed from the Probation Hostels. This scheme offers intensive support for high risk offenders.
