Our Services Bradford Team With 205 bed spaces, the Bradford Team, which includes a Keighley office, offers a wide range of supported housing provision across Bradford, Shipley and Keighley to ex offenders and young people leaving the care system. Our schemes are funded by: Supporting People, The Youth Offending Team, Social Services and the Pooled Drug Treatment Budget. Our Housing schemes; ARC (Attaining Resettlement Confidence) works with Mentally Disordered Offenders and Provides 10 bed spaces on a single tenancy basis. A high level of support is provided with a ratio of approximately 1 worker to 5 customers. Generic Housing Related Support – This scheme provides 156 properties offered on a single tenancy basis. Varying levels of support are offered according to the changing needs of individuals (usually a customer to Housing Support Worker ratio of between 1:5 to 1:15). This scheme provides housing related support offenders and those at risk of offending. SHYP (Supported Housing for Young People) receives and processes referrals from the Bradford Youth Offending Team providing 19 bed spaces to customers aged 16-18 on a single tenancy basis. A high level of support is provided with an average ratio of approximately 1 worker to 5 customers. SHELL (Supported Housing Enabling Lifelong Learning) is a scheme proving 20 properties on a single tenancy basis to young people leaving the care system. Other Work Substance misuse Worker – Our full time Substance Misuse Worker works will all of our customers aged over 18yrs who have substance misuse related issues. We offer support, harm minimisation sessions, signposting & referral to other agencies, relapse prevention and motivational work with customers. Needle Exchange – We have a dedicated needle exchange at our Bradford offices for our customers. Allotment – We manage an organic allotment with our customers. The allotment is managed as a partnership between staff and customers and allows customers to spend leisure time constructively, meet new people and to learn new skills.
